Free Advice for Asylum Seekers, Refugees and Recent Migrants. Welcome to the Hackney Migrant Centre. HACKNEY MIGRANT CENTRE WILL CLOSE FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL 2018. As a result of unprecedented demand on our centre Hackney Migrant Centre will close for a period of one month in April 2018 in order to allow us to evaluate our current working model, our organisation and staffing capacity, and to review our priorities and how we can best try to support the visitors to our service.
To do this, we believe we all need to get organised, fight back and take over the decision-making in communities and workplaces. We support and participate in local campaigns, spread ideas and help create effective opposition to the powers that be. Come along to our monthly meetings, held on the first Tuesday of each month at the Phoenix Millennium Centre,.
A social centre for asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants. Open every Sunday, 12pm - 5pm. Every week, a volunteer or visitor will cook vegetarian and halal food to share together.
